or just let north korea move south
heres a little useless fact, the word Ssangyong directly translates to twin dragons. wish the dragons would breathe fire on the factory and melt it, that would see the end of Ssangyong. back to motorbikes -------------------- The SCGi forums: where every thread is guaranteed to go off topic, or your money back |

The RGV's NSR's KR-1's and TZR's are all 2 stroke, and on the new system banned
but even if they were allowed i would highly reccomend not getting them. They are race bikes, and usually need a top end rebuild every 6months and are VERY pricey on these as most are grey imports and the hyosungs are the hyundai of moti's -------------------- SCGi Soldat Champion

Well, I have my bike license and I have a Honda Hornet 250 (Ive rode a GSX too though and they are nice) and i love it! I wouldn't get a 250 ninja as my first bike. I want a ZX-10R (1000cc Ninja really) so ill get that when im on my fulls. Don't forget the amount you have to pay for your gear, jacket, pants etc.

goody why wouldnt you get a ninja for a first bike? it was going to be my first bike before i decided to get a gsxr600 I want to try a few different bikes, for example a 250 Honda, the R1's look nice and a ZX10R. That way i get a feel for more then one type of bike, Ninja to Ninja etc. As for getting your bike license, I got mine in NSW but I think the rules/process would be much the same. First you book in to do a 6 hour Leaner Rider course, and you do the Motorbike computer L's test, after that you have your L's for your bike. On your L's you are restricted to certain bikes, when i got mine you couldn't ride over a 250cc bike, i think it has changed now though. In some states you have to ride with a fully licensed rider on another bike with you, but VIC and NSW its okay to ride on your own. Decka manages the Motorbike course in the GV i think. |

i'm booked in for my l's ,, all you have to do chinno is ring deca, tell em you want to go for your moti l's nd they should set a date! i highly recomend the full day course if you have little moti experience, as you are pretty much guaranteed to get ur license + walk away feeling confident on a bike.
Deca supply the bikes but you can ride your own if you have one. Hope this helps -------------------- SCGi Soldat Champion

Well gotta say I'm loving the new Learner Approved bikes that Vic has brought in. I'm getting a BMW F650GS soon, looking to do a little touring. The rest of you should get your bike license's.
