We also provide a server which has the latest patches for games which may be played at the LAN. This address will *only* work at the LAN, this server is *not* available from your home internet connection! To access the LAN server, just type www.scgi.org into your browser address bar, give the page a few seconds to load, you will be presented with a page similar to the image below |

Steps to set up your PC for the SCGI LAN |
To set your computer up for the SCGI LAN you need to follow these steps. Instructions are only provided for users of Windows XP 1. Firstly, open up your control panel and double click on 'Network Connections': |

2. Second, right click on your network connection (it will be called something like 'Local area network'). |

3. Third, select the 'Internet protocol (TCP/IP) section on the screen that is displayed. |

4. Lastly, in the TCP/IP properties screen, you need to ensure that the network settings are both set to automatic, as in the image below. If this is not set to automatic, you won't be able to join the SCGI network at the LAN :-(. |
